PTPA Launches Global Services Program to Support Players’ International Needs

Recognizing players’ unique global needs, the PTPA has launched a new international concierge services program, PTPA Global Services, to provide players and their teams local support in temporary training locations. PTPA Global Services has launched in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, based on the country’s popularity as an offseason training destination, but aims to expand to other regions in the future.

As part of PTPA Global Services, players and their teams can receive convenient and complimentary support with a variety of local needs, including, but not limited to:

  • Facilities: Securing access to tennis clubs and facilities
  • Training: Supporting with court bookings and locating and contracting local sparring partners
  • Equipment: Finding suitable local stringing services
  • Accommodations: Finding temporary accommodations (hotels or apartments) and supporting with booking
  • Relocation: Helping navigate local legal requirements for players who wish to permanently move to the new location

Mohammed Tarik Koubaa will serve as Head of PTPA Global Services, overseeing the program and facilitating player and player teams’ real-time needs. A Dubai resident since 2018, Tarik has provided individualized, localized support to more than 25 men’s and women’s players over recent years. He has worked with singles and doubles players ranging from the top 10 to the top 200 rankings. Tarik is also a three-time Rackelton World Champion in singles and doubles (2022 men’s doubles, 2024 men’s singles and mixed doubles), and has spent more than a decade competing and supporting professional athletes across racquet sports.

“I’ve been involved in the professional tennis world for many years as a result of players needing – and lacking –  support worldwide,” said Tarik. “I’m excited to contribute to the PTPA’s mission of supporting players on and off the court year round, that way they can stay focused on training and not worry about logistical needs.”

PTPA Global Services is available to all current professional players and their teams. Players within the PTPA’s core player group of focus (top 250 men’s and women’s singles, top 100 men’s and women’s doubles), will be supported on a first come, first served basis. For players outside the PTPA’s core player group, support will be subject to the availability of Tarik and his team.

Players and player teams are encouraged to share their feedback on the program, as their perspectives will directly influence the future evolution and expansion of PTPA Global Services.
